Tony Tieu has had a long love affair with photography. It all began in the late nineties when Tony was a professional skateboarder. Tony was often photographed doing stunts by many of the top photographers in the skateboarding industry. On these photo shoots, Tony was NOT only concerned with performing his stunts, he was also very interested in what the photographers were doing to get “the” shot. He witnessed top-notch photo techniques in action. After many years spent in front of the camera, Tony is now applying the techniques he learned to his own photography. He really enjoys finding something “ordinary” and then discovering a unique perspective to it. Tony loves photography because it allows him to be creative and to interact with people and nature on a deeper level.
